the city has been founded in order to construct an emormous
industrial complex wide for half a million inhabitants until
the city was completed and contributing to reducting the population
within existing cities and increasing work opportunities among youth.

General location and layout of the city:
Tenth of Ramadan city is located 55 km from
Cairo / Ismalia desert road with boundaries starting
from km 49.3 up to 68.4 Cairo / Ismalia desert road.
The city has two entrances,the first entrance being on
km 51 and the second on km 56 Cairo / Ismalia desert road.

General layout of the city:
The city has been planned on a total area of 398 km2 inctusive of
the reconstruction mass over an area of 93 km2 and the remaining
area green landscape, tourism and recreation activities over an area
of 305 km2 (green belt). The city has been planned on for stages.
Every stage includes four housing districts centered by the city
heart including from 8.9 housing area centered by a main district
in addition to different mild average industrial regions.
this complex is surrounded by agreen belt making this environment a
pure ,healthy one. mild industrial regions lying southward in
Cairo / Ismalia desert road on south region of inhabitants,
massing in the city.

and it has been classified as follow. 1-
land for light
industries (less than 6000 sq. m ) for (clothing , shoes ,
confection and covering activities ...and so on )
2- lane for medium industries (from 6000 sq. m to 10000 sq. m)
for (textile, Plastic, furniture and marble activities... and so on)
3- Land for heavy industries (greater than 10000 sq. m)
for (steel, ceramic, glass and Electricity equipment’s
activities ...and so on).
