Established on 1976 with the formation of Danish Saudi Dairy Company, a
joint venture between Saudi businessmen (48%), Kuwait Projects Company (KIPCO)
(48%) and Danish Turnkey Dairies (4%). Production commenced in 1977 in Jeddah.
In 1987 the company acquired the Saudi Danish Dairy Company of Riyadh and in
1991 merged with Gulf Danish Dairy Company and Medina Danish Dairy Company.
Since 1991, in addition to milk related products including ice cream, the
company has expanded the product range with the introduction of tomato paste,
cheese (through the joint venture with Milk Products Holding, a subsidiary of
the New Zealand Dairy Board), hommos, water and snacks (through the acquisition
of Sara Snack Foods Factory in 1995). -
SADAFCO has since its establishment developed an intensive and diverse
product portfolio both in the milk and non-milk food product categories
represented by strong brand names. Furthermore the company has demonstrated a
strong and steady financial performance since its establishment, and the
performance is forecasted to be maintained as the company expands the product
portfolio and extends its sales and distribution network beyond Saudi Arabia
into the Middle East and North Africa regions. -
SADAFCO has five fully mechanized and efficient factories in Saudi
Arabia, two located in Jeddah, and one in Riyadh, Dammam and Madinah. Also, 20
depots all over in Kingdom and the Gulf. -
SADAFCO supplies over than 200 products from Milk full range, Juices,
Water, Snacks, Cheese, Foodstuff, and Ice cream in various packing and sizes. -
The manufacturing division of SADAFCO supplies and distributes the
finished quality goods through the entire sales network. The division also
manages SADAFCO’s own H.G.V distribution fleet, one of the largest in the
Gulf. This distribution fleet covers all Saudi Arabia and the G.C.C. States; it
also distributes products for companies such as Al-Ahram beverages Co. – Egypt
in Saudi Arabia and G.C.C. through its huge sales distribution fleet. LFJ
Lebanon Fruit Juice Co.
SAL – BONJUS was established in 1962 in Fanar – Lebanon. It manufactures
food products mainly non-alcoholic beverages, dairy products, ice cream and
juices. Exporting juices and ice cream mainly to USA, Canada, Australia, Africa,
Gulf Countries and Europe. EDAFCO
Egyptian Dairy &
Foodstuff Co. S.A.E (EDAFCO) was established in 1999 after establishing its
factory in 10th of Ramadan City, Egypt. EDAFCO is a subsidiary of
Saudi Dairy and Foodstuff Co. (SADAFCO). EDAFCO is a very dynamic
and fast expanding company producing a wide range of long life milks, flavored
milks, juice nectars, desserts,
yoghurt and tomato paste, in Tetra Pak packaging and Glass Bottles -
