EIPICO
is unique by  its
sterile areas which are equipped with laminar air flow to obtain
filtered air up to 99.977 % particulate free . The critical
processes are carried out in class 100 area . There are different
sterile areas at EIPICO, two for powder filling and the others for
liquid preparations for manufacture of ampoules , vials, eye / ear
drops and ointments, also for manufacture of lyophilized products .
Both areas are physically separated . Each area is supplied by
equipment required to all necessary operations, e.g. autoclaves, hot
air oven .. etc . The area and its equipment are validated .
Sterilzation processes are subject to annual revalidation . Aseptic
processes are validated twice yearly by means of a simulated media
fill .
Water and air quality are
monitored according to a restricted documented system .
EIPICO
also is specialized in production of high technology drug delivery
systems such as sustained release spansules, soft gelatin capsules,
effervecent tablets and powders ... etc. The areas for production
are controlled with respect to temperature, humidity and air .
