This was the first company established by the group in 1982 as a pioneer private sector company in Egypt, manufacturing emulsions and a wide rang of textured paints for exterior and interior decoration. This company is a joint venture with Euoquarzo Italy who provided the know-how and the technology. Annual sales are in the rang of l.E. 35 to 40 million and the production is made for local and export markets, by annual production of 8500 tons. In 1985 the group started new lines of production for industrial paints under license from several European firms and as the demand grew rapidly on our products, we decided to establish a new factory specialized in this line of business. Euroquarzo sigma coatings was established in 1987 between the same shareholders. The factory was built on 7000 square meters and consists of three main production lines. 1) Production of resins: Subject is one of the very few factories in Egypt producing resins for a wide variety of industrial paints for our own use and other paint producers in Egypt. 2) Production of Resins: The company's production capacity of paints is in the vacuity of 9.000 tons per year. It is specialized in the manufacturing of a wide range of paints under license from several international firms as follows : - Production of paints and coatings including Maring , protective and Pipe Sigma Coating Holland ( a sunsidiary of petrofina, Beluim), Casco Nobel Italy (subsidiary of Nobel group ) and Crown Berger U.K. It is worth mentioning that the annual turnover of this company is in the vicuity of L.E. 32000. As the group has became more specialized in the production of tin cans and as the market demand in Egypt is growing very rapidly with a large deficit in supply , we decide to start a new factory for tinplate sheet printing and can manufacturing fully automated according to the world's latest technology. The plant start the production at March 97,as a trial production for 3 months for printing lines, the factory will be in full production at June 1998 the annual turnover expected to be26 Million raise uo at 1999 to be 40 million . This is the trading arm of the group, established in 1993 .the company's activities are of the general trade specially in bullk chemicals, tinplate sheet , grinding disks and spraying equipment. The company will have specialized and work shops for after sales service for equipment sold, and the turnover for 1997 expected to pe 7.000.000 Million. This is contracting arm group, established in 1996 to execute some construction Finishing and decorative operations using the materials produced by the other companies of the group. This company can expend its activities to include mechanical and electrical work. The company has been awarded contacts amounting to L.E. 10.000.000 and annual turnover is expected to the vacuity of L.E. 20.000.000.
