The Association was first established in 1978, and later declared officially in 1986 as an independent non-governmental , non-profit organization, under law number 32/1964 under the supervision of the Ministry of Social Affairs. The annual income in of the association is derived mainly from membership fees, membership entrance fees, and donations by the members.
The total number of the Association is approximately 470, all of which have business interests in 10th of Ramadan . The Association's members come from a wide range of
Industrial activities for example:
* Industrial Engineering.
* Food Industry.
* Petrochemical.
* Thermal and Building Materials.
* Printing and Packaging.
* Wood and Furniture.
* Fabrics and Textile Industries.
* Plastic and Chemicals.

The full-time of the Assoc. consists of :

• Executive Manger

• Administration Manager

• Relations Manager

• Financial Manager

• Secretarial Division Manager

• Two Secretaries

• Other support staff


The Association aims primarily at creating a business environment that will enable private sector companies in 10th of Ramadan to achieve a significant role in the process of economic development, tacking various economic development, tackling various economic and social issues that would have an impact upon the performance and the activities of its members and providing its members with relevant services.

The Assoc. is involved in the following activities :

• Publishing all correspondence of importance to the investors received from external agencies.

• Participation of members of the Association in conferences, sessions and meetings organized by the association to study topics of interest to them .

• Presentation of problems & desires of the members to the external agencies.

• Formatting of divisions and committees within the association regarding the interests of each industrial activity individually, and providing different services.

• Providing the chance for the members to obtain the different investment opportunities whether in financing, export, import or commercial services.

• Carrying out training sessions to serve employees working in the companies situated in the city .

• Organizing and establishing internal and external exhibitions .

• Organizing and reception of official or commercial visit to the city & industrial establishments there .

• Establishing databases about investors activities and their submission to members.
